Orpheus has decided that, given the current instability of the bar, it's best if he stays here until whatever doom is coming actually arrives. He really doesn't want to lose access to the place.

So he's at a booth that is still in reasonably good condition, watching chaos mount with appropriate musical accompaniment.

As is usual on this particular day, Lorne is somewhat subdued when he comes into the bar in his dress blues. He takes a seat on one of the stools, and before he can even ask for anything, two glasses of whiskey appear for him, along with a napkin with a sketch of a poppy on it.

It's Memorial Day, which means it's about time for Lorne to show up all spiffy in his dress blues and quietly make his way to the bar, where he asks for (and receives) a glass of scotch (the quality of which is much better than he asked for ( Read more... )

It's been a while since Lorne's been asked to bartend, but he hasn't forgotten how it works, so when the familiar napkin pops up, he smiles and says, "Sure thing, sweetheart," before vaulting over the bar to set up.

In a few minutes, a specials' board (decorated with sombreros and chili peppers in colorful chalk) is posted. It reads:

When he gets to the bar, before he can order, a glass of his favorite bourbon appears with a napkin that reads: On the house, Major.
